Board Policy:
WingZ Of Silence is accessible free of charge to anyone who registers.
WingZ Of Silence is a friendly board and Members help each other.
WingZ Of Silence is a search engine for links to other sites.
WingZ Of Silence will never host software, cracks or serials.
WingZ Of Silence will not allow posts about illegal firearms or mods, or hacking/cracking.
WingZ Of Silence will not accept any requests to have software cracked
General Rules:
*BitTorrent file sharing and the like are forbidden! (See Rule #7) You will be banned for this!
*Do Not register multiple user accounts! One user account per person!*
1. Do Not Post Request in the "Shout Box"! They will be deleted!
2. No Posting of Serials in Topics!
This includes serials / registration numbers in images also.
3. No posts containing specific instructions on how to bypass protection schemes.
You may specify how to use or apply the "fix" files.
Serials definition: Any given sequence of numbers and/or letters used for registering protected software.
4. No Posting of other Boards for promotion purposes!
No links of any type to other sites or forums for the purpose of promoting them.
Do not add a website, or server link to your signature.
5. No Double Posting - Use our Search-Engine before you post!
Someone else may already have posted the same links and your post will be considered a double post.
6. No Spam or Bumping of Posts!
Stay on topic with replies. Don't hijack any thread for your own purpose.
Using Board's email/PM facility to spam/abuse any other member is strictly prohibited!
Bumping of posts (by replying to yourself for example) is not allowed!
7. No P2P links!
You cannot post your personal files for others to download, nor request any uploading of files. If it can be discerned that you were the uploader, whether thru a direct admission or within the filename or password, the file may NOT be posted.
8. Passwords / Filenames containing anything related to WingZ Of Silence, or your Member name, are prohibited.
9. You may request for Links for a given item, but may NOT request uploading or reuploading of any item.
10. Offers of files, or services, specifically to exchange for other files or services, is NOT allowed!
Any of the above will be deemed Trading/Filesharing, which is forbidden.
If the target is found to be an abuse of this allowance, including, but not limited to, uploads for other members, then appropriate action will be taken.

#1: The uploading of avatars has been discontinued. Upload it to an image host and link it in your profile. Or choose one of our 900 stock avatars or no avatar at all.
#2: "Display Name" changes are no longer being accepted. The name you picked is the one you got... Period!
If unsure, ask a Staff member BEFORE you post.
11. Be friendly - Never Post:
Negative comments on any country, race, creed, religion or culture as they are strictly forbidden.
Any post containing or considered to be foul language, flaming action, false statement, profanity, violence, horror, criticism, sarcastic remarks, racism, sexual discrimination, animal cruelty, offensive, evil, disturbing, nuisance, or not beneficial to other members of our board, will be deleted immediately and appropriate action taken.
12. Be aware that some words considered inappropriate will be automatically masked by the board software.
This rule also applies to links, avatars, signatures and all images posted within our board.
13. Posts are to be made in English ONLY.
14. Comply to All Sticky's and Board News!
Admins may add new or temporary rules and directions in Board News before they are integrated in Rules page. You are expected to read and comply with all announcements and Sticky’s in Board News.
Administrators and SuperModerators make announcements and Sticky’s containing guidelines on how to act in specific forums. You are also expected to follow those carefully.
Request Rules:
15. Be specific and clear!
Post as much information as possible in the subject-area - fx. version and build-number (for A/V-requests you should mention artist, title etc.).
Don't say: looking for the "latest" version of...These types of Post can and will be deleted with no explanation.
Posts with only "Help!" or "looking for" in the subject will be deleted without explanation!
Mention Software Homepage
Always mention the software’s homepage to avoid confusion and to attract other members that might become interested in helping you out. Try yourself first. Help others to help yourself! (For A/V-request you could post a link to fx. cdnow.com or amazon.com).
No bumping of requests!
Bumping of requests by fx. replying to yourself to get on top of other posts is not allowed!
It's allowed to make a new similar post after a week without replies.
Use our Search-Engine before you request!
Be sure to search our forum for working links, before you request anything!
Restrictions & Warnings:
Editing of posts:
Staff Members are entitled to edit and correct any posts containing violations of our rules!
Deleting of posts:
If you wonder why your post was deleted, study the above rules!
Complaints about decisions:
Never start discussions about issued warnings etc. within threads!
If you feel yourself misunderstood or similar, then always contact staff through PM.
Public complaints and discussions of staff-decisions will be deleted immediately!
Staff decisions are final.
Warnings for posts:
Violating of any of our rules can result in a Warning.
In some cases multiple Warnings or ModPreview of all future posts will be considered immediately.
A member on ModPreview will still be able to read everything, but not be able to post freely.
Staff may also have to suspend, or ban members immediately if an extreme situation calls for it.
Unforseen Circumstances:
Staff reserve the right to take whatever action is necessary to settle any issue that is not specifically covered in the WingZ Of Silence Rules.
